Harshal Shelar
Managing Partner

Harshal Shelar helps businesses across India replace manual guesswork with disciplined, data-backed operations. As Managing Partner for Valenta in the region, he pairs a decade of engineering rigor with hands-on experience running operations and finance for a fast-growing automation practice, giving clients a partner who understands both the technical mechanics of automation and the financial discipline required to scale it.
Harshal's path to Valenta started in the classroom, not the boardroom. After earning a master's degree in Power Electronics and Power Systems and qualifying for GATE in 2013, he spent nearly five years teaching electrical engineering and mentoring students in embedded systems and Arduino-based projects at Sandip University and K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering. In parallel, he took on a strategic admissions role, building data-driven enrollment frameworks for the institution, an experience that showed him how much operational value gets left on the table when organizations rely on manual, disconnected processes instead of structured systems.
That insight carried directly into his current work. For the past four years, Harshal has led Operations and Finance for Valenta Nashik, streamlining workflows and building the financial and operational infrastructure needed to scale a growing automation business. He has also co-founded two ventures of his own, Munificent Technology Services and an internet connectivity startup, giving him firsthand experience with the resource constraints and lean decision-making that define small business operations, the same challenges his clients face every day.
As Managing Partner, Harshal applies that same discipline to help SMBs streamline operations, cut through financial complexity, and adopt AI and automation without disrupting day-to-day work. Valenta solves the operational challenges that hold businesses back: manual processes eating away at profitability, disconnected systems creating data chaos, and teams buried in repetitive work instead of revenue-generating activities. Unlike DIY automation platforms that require internal IT resources, Valenta provides complete delivery services, from discovery through implementation and support, so clients can automate without hiring developers, a distinction Harshal's own engineering background makes him especially well-suited to explain.
Harshal holds a master's degree in Power Electronics and Power Systems from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Sardar Patel College of Engineering, along with certifications in project management and automation fundamentals. Outside of client work, he stays active in education technology and startup mentorship, a natural extension of his years in the classroom and a reminder that sustainable growth starts with equipping people, not just installing systems.
