Before Valenta, Francisco spent 11 years at AT&T Mexico, moving from market planning into analytics and ultimately leading Data Science & AI. He built multidisciplinary teams, cloud data platforms, and MLOps practices, and took AI from analytical models to copilots, automation, and new operating models, with governance and responsible adoption built in. Earlier, nine years in network engineering and capacity planning at Alestra grounded him in what it takes for technology to perform at scale, every day.

That experience shaped a conviction he states plainly: AI matters only when it solves real business problems, is adopted by people, and delivers sustainable value. Most AI programs don't stall on the technology. They stall on unclear priorities, thin business cases, and tools that never make it into people's daily work.

Francisco holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and a Senior Management diploma from Universidad Iberoamericana, with additional training in data mining (Tecnológico de Monterrey), applied econometrics (Instituto Politécnico Nacional), and agent-based AI for business transformation. He speaks and moderates at technology and business forums and collaborates with academic and innovation communities in AI and data.
